The Version Sync & Component Sync for Atlassian app helps project managers to share versions between multiple Jira projects by using project links. The goal is to make project administration easier and to allow project managers to spent less time setting up their issue tracker and focus on the actual issues.
To make sure you fully understand the impact that Version & Component Sync has on your projects, we advise you to first test our app prior to configuring links in a production environment.
Make sure you are fully aware of how the add-on configuration works and that you have confirmed that it is configured and working as expected.
In order to test our app, create two or more dummy projects in Jira and link them using Version Sync & Component Sync, or use a staging environment the first time you are configuring a project link.
