The Version Sync for Atlassian JIRA add-on helps project managers to share versions between multiple JIRA projects. The goal is to make project administration easier and to allow project managers to spent less time setting up their issue tracker and focus on the actual issues.

Version & Component Sync documentation

  • To make sure you fully understand the impact that Version Sync has on your projects, we advise you to first test our add-on prior to configuring links in a production environment.

  • Make sure you are fully aware of how the add-on configuration works and that you have confirmed that it is configured and working as expected.

  • In order to test our add-on, create two or more dummy projects in Jira and link them using Version Sync, or use a staging environment the first time you are configuring a project link.
