Figma Personal Acces Token

In order for the Figma for Confluence app to work we need a Personal Access Token. This token allows us to access the Figma API and retrieve all your Figma Files & Frames.

At the moment you can only enter your Personal Access Token in the app once. It is not possible to enter a different access token for each file or frame you would like too embed.

Therefore, we advise you to create a generic Figma account for Figma for Confluence (for example figmaforconfluence@yourdomain.com) and to create an access token for this account. By creating a generic account the access token is not linked to your personal account.

Please keep in mind that you need to add figmaforconfluence@yourdomain.com to each Figma file you would like to embed

Please take the following steps to create the token:

...

Login to your Figma account

...

Head to Help & Account from the top left-menu inside Figma and click on Account Settings

...

Find the Personal Access Tokens section
